About this course

UEE31220- Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control provides participants with the fundamental knowledge and essential skills to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair, and maintain process control instrumentation systems and devices.

During this course, you will learn to configure and calibrate a range of analytical and process measurement and control instruments.  You will then progress to programming, configuring, fault finding and loop tuning advanced control systems and industrial networks.  

Entry requirements: UEE30811 / UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or working toward achieving) or hold an unrestricted Australian electrical licence issued by any state or territory.

Course duration

Flexible, pending your availability and how quickly you can move through the online learning modules. We envisage the average training will take 9-12 months, however learners have up to 2 years to complete the course.

Delivery options

Training and assessment will be by flexible delivery combining self-paced blended learning, one-on-one learning, lab/site-based performance activities and a workplace log book.

You can also undertake this course through our cyber physical training capability. This means you can be located anywhere with a good internet connection to enable remote access to our labs.
